Personal presentation is regarded as important at St Gregory’s. Children with hair that is below collar length must have it tied back for health reasons. Hair should be the child’s natural hair colour, colouring of hair in primary school is discouraged. Ribbons and hair ties are to be in the school colours of navy or gold or matching natural hair colour.

Notes on Uniform:

• No jewellery is permitted, other than a watch and one plain stud type earring in each ear. For safety reasons, ONLY earlobes are permitted to be pierced.
• Nail polish or tattoos are not permitted.
• Children must wear designated school hats. Children without a school hat will be directed to stay in the shade.
• School bags are to be either the crested backpack from the school suppliers or plain navy blue.
• Coloured parkas are not to be worn.
• All school uniform items are available from Lowes Menswear (located in the Riverside Plaza) or the secondhand clothing pool (located on our Lowe St campus).
• Scarves are permitted to be worn in winter but must be plain navy or black in colour.
• When runners are required on days that children are not in sport uniform, they should bring them to school in a plastic bag and change into them when needed.

Nylon basketball shorts are not permitted as sports uniform, these include Archdiocese or MacKillop Representative shorts.
